Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Run chronic pain services and lead intensive care units.
Conduct specialized anaesthesiology Clinics.
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines paediatric critical care.
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Supervise and train intern Doctors.
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct research in anaesthesiology.
Conduct continuous professional development in anaesthesiology at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for anaesthesiology services.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
