Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Participate in a continuous nursing coverage on Wards/Unites by receiving reports and effectively handing over to in-coming shift.
Keep patients comfortable and ensure clean and safe environment.
Give out treatment as prescribed and carry out nursing procedures.
Carry out observations, keep records and ensure their safe custody.
Receive patients, register admissions and discharges.
Ensure that aseptic procedures are adhered to in the preparation of sterile procedures.
Carry out Health Education to patients and their attendants.
Participate in Primary Health Care activities.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Maintain close contact with patients
Ensure confidentiality.
Participate in ward rounds conducted by Clinicians.
