Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Receive patients, register admissions, discharge patients and record deaths.
Carry out antenatal care with emphasis of identifying high risk cases and refer them to Doctors.
Provide care during labour with emphasis of keeping proper records, use of drugs and prevention of complications to mother and baby.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Coordinate development, review and monitoring of implementation of policies and procedures on midwifery
Support training and capacity development of midwives.
Supervise, coach and mentor and appraise staff.
Prepare Divisional performance reports.
