Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Conduct research on biological, chemical, and radiological hazards.
Inform organizations of areas not in compliance with the law and advise management.
Advise stakeholders on standards for occupational health and on the cost and effectiveness of occupational health programs.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Participate in the development of draft laws and policies relating to occupational health
Conduct occupational health and safety audits and inspection
Investigate complaints from workers regarding unsafe work places
Design programs to control, eliminate and prevent disease or injury related to work
Prepare occupational health audit and compliance reports
Support the development of occupational hygiene and safety measures and ensure that suitable and sufficient risk assessments and health surveillance screening are in place across the country
