Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Design guidelines and protocols for surveillance activities and epidemiological studies.
Implement epidemiological research protocols.
Participate in training and providing tools to Health Workers involved in data collection.
Supervise the implementation of surveillance activities.
Implement operational research studies.
Investigate and respond to disease epidemics and disasters.
Prepare and submit periodic reports.
Oversee data collection, entry, analysis and interpretation of epidemic prone diseases.
Train health workers on epidemic preparedness, control and surveillance.
Regularly assess the performance of staff.
