  • Assist the Principal Anaesthetic Officer to organise and coordinate anaesthesia, emergency and critical care services in the Hospital
  • Provide safe, quality, emergency, anaesthesia and critical care services to patients
  • Provide safe patient care during both intra and inter-hospital transfers
  • Provide 24-hour coverage of anaesthesia and critical care services in the Hospital
  • Evaluate and refer patients for specialised anaesthesia and critical care services
  • Participate in research activities and health data collection
  • Participate in continuous professional development programs
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports
  • Participate in support supervision of anaesthesia and critical care services
  • Manage performance of staff
  • Participate in planning and budgeting for the Hospital
  • Participate in clinical work and ensure proper management of patients
