Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
:
Diagnose and treat complicated Ear, Nose and Throat conditions.
Conduct specialized Ear, Nose and Throat Clinics
Manage referral patients at the National level.
Conduct Ward rounds.
Supervise, coach, mentor, appraise and train Medical and Health Professionals under him/her.
Draft standard operating procedures, clinical protocols and guidelines in Ear, Nose and Throat
Teach Medical students as well as other health students.
Supervise and train intern Doctors.
Enforce adherence to the professional code of conduct and ethics.
Conduct research in the Ear, Nose and Throat field.
Conduct continuous professional development in the Ear, Nose and Throat Division at the Hospital and the catchment area of the Hospital.
Provide technical guidance on the specifications of the procurement of equipment, drugs and other logistics required for Ear, Nose and Throat.
To perform any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.
